The Axiom was. A car that was just too ahead of it’s time, at least styling wise. You can even still buy one new, more or less, as the Great Wall Hover/Haval H5.
What a fantastic looking car. Damn shame nobody really gave a shit about Isuzu in their final days.

The interiors were horrible though, as with every Isuzu.

Doesn’t look too bad to me. No Audi, but still

Explains why they were selling them through Pontiac dealers in the US. Birds of a feather and all that.

My best friend’s mom had one of these from new. It was a piece of shit.

Speaking about styling that was “ahead of its time”, I find it amusing that when the Axiom was discontinued, the line it was built on at SIA was retooled to build the B9 Tribeca.

That interior didn’t live up to the exterior

The wheel and gauge cluster literally looks like they came straight out of my dad’s ‘98 Trooper.

Yeah, it’s cool but…
Isuzu’s greatest creation?
